George Hunt presents his findings on what the governments 307 billion dollars in grants to the Silicon valley are going to. In this investigation he uncovers the results almost 2 years after the original grants were proposed and we learn that a lot of that money is going in to build an internet pipeline in Africa and bringing African people online. George asks the looming question of why would we want to invest 10 percent of the US budget into Africa.

Obama Budgets $307 Billion For the African Internet, etc.
The “Alliance For An Affordable Internet” is a public-private partnership which intends to build a huge, expensive African Internet. Its headquarters are in Nairobi, Kenya, now dubbed “Africa’s Silicon Valley”.

Hillary Clinton alluded to this monstrous State Department project when she stepped down from her Secretary job on February 1, 2013. She said, “One billion more persons will have access to the Internet”. She did not expand her sentence to include… “and Americans will pay for most of it”.
Here is the scheme: Bloomberg News reported on Feb 14, 2011 that President Obama’s budget for FYE2012 will include $307 billion in grants to Silicon Valley. Specifically, the individual grant amounts in Obama’s budget are: $148 billion for research and development, $80 billion for federal information systems and $77.4 billion for computer education. Much (most?) of the grant money will be spent for Africa’s Internet.
The partners of “Alliance For An Affordable Internet” include the U.S Department of State, the World Wide Web Foundation and five Silicon Valley computer giants (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Intel and Cisco Systems).
Americans will get little benefit from these huge grants, nor can we endure the $307 billion in the cash 
outflow from the U.S. treasury. While we struggle to pay for health and indigent assistance, our constant wars and our corroding infrastructure, these grants will indeed bury us further into debt.
The World Bank, the UN and many foundations are available to fund an African Internet. If the international funds refuse to assist, the E.U. and the U.K. should fund this project because of their large African associations.

President Obama has already promised to grant a total of $307 billion to the Silicon Valley for the technology and systems required for this Africa adventure. In other words, Americans are picking up the tab for the $307 billion Obama has granted to create an African Internet. Moreover, I doubt that Americans will probably ever use it so we’ll get nothing in return for for our money.
Obama’s home town of Nairobi, Kenya, has already been dubbed as ”Africa’s Siiicon Valley” by Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt, But why should the U.S. foot the bill for this low-priority project while millions of Americans are unemployed and our infrastructure requires so many repairs? We’ll miss that $307 billion, President Obama.

At this same time a group of young college students were also creating a site dubbed the Facebook Killer. Diaspora co-founder Ilya Zhitomirskiy was found dead on November 12, 2011, maybe it’s just a coincidence but it seems all too similar and George Hunt investigates this not as suicide but as if Ilya was murdered.
George Hunt talks about President Obama’s bad choice in placing Timothy F. Geithner as the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Obama choose Geithner because Bernanke needed a corrupt insider to work with the Fed and the international banking elite. George explains how Geithner was almost indicted for tax evasion in previous years before taking his position as the Secretary, we learn more about this in George Hunt’s previous video about the Stolen Kennedy Bonds.
